Meta Connect 2026

Llama, Meta AI, and Reality Labs roadmap

When
Sep 23–24, 2026
Where
Menlo Park, United States
Format
In-person

Meta's annual conference. Llama model family updates and Meta AI assistant roadmap.

Meta Connect is the company's annual developer and partner conference for its mixed-reality platform (Quest, Horizon OS) and AI products (Meta AI, Llama model family). Held in September at Meta's Menlo Park headquarters, Connect has evolved beyond VR gaming to become the primary venue for Meta's enterprise AI and spatial computing strategy announcements.

For enterprise teams, Meta Connect 2026's most strategically relevant component is the Llama ecosystem update: the open-weight Llama model family has become the most widely deployed open-source LLM in enterprise AI infrastructure, and Connect is where Meta previews the next model generation, announces key fine-tuning and deployment partnerships (AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle), and updates its commercial licensing terms.

AIMenta monitors Meta Connect specifically for Llama roadmap signals that affect the open-source LLM stack used by several of our infrastructure clients. The Llama 3 and future releases are particularly relevant for enterprises building private, on-premises AI deployments in markets (notably China and some financial-services jurisdictions) where data cannot leave the organisation's own infrastructure.
