Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of aimenta.ai — the public site, the resources we publish, and the lead-capture forms we operate. Paid engagements with AIMenta are governed by a separate executed services agreement that takes precedence over this document.

This is a baseline policy. We recommend consulting qualified legal counsel for your jurisdiction before relying on this for compliance. For paid engagements, the executed services agreement governs — these public terms do not override it.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing aimenta.ai or any subdomain, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you are accessing the site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. The service

AIMenta operates a public marketing and information site that publishes insights, frameworks, an AI tools library, an encyclopedia, an event calendar, and curated APAC AI news. The site also captures leads for our consulting services through contact forms and assessment tools.

The website itself is provided free of charge and without account registration. Our paid consulting engagements — strategy, training, talent, workflow, software, and infrastructure work — are governed by separately negotiated and executed services agreements that supersede this document for the scope of that engagement.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use aimenta.ai for lawful purposes only. Specifically, you will not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt and our published feeds
  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from any client-side application or interactive tool we publish
  • Introduce malware, exploits, or any code intended to interfere with the site or other users
  • Use the site to send unsolicited marketing communications to addresses harvested from our content
  • Misrepresent your identity in contact forms or use the lead-capture system to send abusive, defamatory, or unlawful messages
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the site without prior written authorisation. If you believe you have found a security issue, email [email protected] with the details.

We reserve the right to block IP addresses and revoke access where these terms are breached.

4. Intellectual property

All content on aimenta.ai — including written articles, frameworks, illustrations, the AIMenta wordmark, the visual design system, and the editorial taxonomy of the encyclopedia and AI tools library — is the copyright of AIMenta unless explicitly attributed to a third party.

You may quote individual passages from our published insights and articles, up to a reasonable extract, with clear attribution to AIMenta and a link back to the source page. Wholesale republication, syndication, or repackaging of our content requires prior written permission from [email protected].

The "AIMenta" name, logo, wordmark, and the cyan-accent visual system are trademarks of AIMenta. Use of the marks in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership requires a written trademark licence.

5. Third-party content

Our insights regularly cite third-party research from sources including McKinsey, IDC, Gartner, Bain & Company, and primary regulator publications. Where we cite a third-party statistic, the underlying research and copyright remain with the original source — we claim no rights over them. Links to third-party sites are provided for reference; we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of external sites.

The AI tools we review remain the products of their respective owners. Our editorial verdicts are independent opinion and do not represent endorsement, partnership, or affiliate compensation unless explicitly disclosed on the relevant page.

6. AI-generated and synthesised content

We disclose where we use AI-assisted production or editorial synthesis:

  • Some published case studies are illustrative composites derived from patterns we observe across multiple engagements, not single named-client write-ups. These are clearly labelled on the page.
  • The AI tools library and encyclopedia entries are editorially curated and synthesised — we read the source material, form an editorial view, and write the entry. Where AI assists in drafting, a human editor reviews before publication.
  • News items are curated APAC items with our editorial take appended. The original article remains the source of record.

We do not knowingly publish unedited model output as our own analysis.

7. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Content on aimenta.ai is for general information only. It is not legal, financial, accounting, tax, or other professional advice. Decisions on AI adoption, vendor selection, regulatory posture, or capital allocation should be made with qualified professional input applied to your specific facts. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and we are not liable for transmission errors or losses arising from internet connectivity issues outside our infrastructure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AIMenta and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, arising from or related to your access to, use of, or inability to use the site or any content on it, even if AIMenta has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the public site is limited to the greater of the fees you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, for the public site, is zero) or HKD 1,000.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AIMenta and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, your violation of applicable law in connection with your use of the site, or your infringement of any third-party right through your use of the site.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Dispute resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising from or relating to these terms — including any question regarding their existence, validity, breach, or termination — shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong SAR.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to attempt good-faith resolution by writing to [email protected] with a clear description of the dispute and proposed remedy. We will respond within 30 days. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

12. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be replaced with a valid provision that most closely matches the original intent.

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any executed services agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and AIMenta with respect to your use of the public site, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms is not a waiver of that right or provision.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL with the "Last updated" date shown at the top. When we make a material change, we will revise that date and, where the change has practical impact on existing inquiries, we will reach out directly. Continued use of the site after a posted update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
