Common questions

What technical background is expected?

Two years of professional software engineering, comfort with Python, and basic familiarity with REST APIs. You do not need prior ML experience — we build from prompt engineering up through retrieval, evaluation, and production deployment. Test-yourself prerequisites are published on the program page.

How much time per week should I budget?

Plan for 8–10 hours per week across 8 weeks: two live cohort sessions (2 hours each), one async lab (3 hours), and a weekly 1-on-1 with your assigned mentor (45 minutes). The capstone in week 8 typically requires 12–15 hours.

Will I get hands-on experience deploying real AI systems?

Yes — that is the design. Each week ships a working artifact: a RAG service, an evaluation harness, a cost-aware inference router, an observability dashboard. The capstone is a production-grade reference application you keep and can adapt for your employer.
