Japan's largest enterprise AI conference. Manufacturing, robotics, and the Japanese foundation-model ecosystem.

AI Summit Tokyo is Japan's highest-profile enterprise AI conference, hosted at Makuhari Messe each autumn with 20,000+ attendees from financial services, manufacturing, automotive, and retail sectors. The Summit's defining feature is its joint agenda across English and Japanese language tracks — a deliberate design that makes Tokyo the most accessible AI event for international teams seeking Japanese market intelligence and for Japanese enterprises exploring global AI vendor options.

The 2025 Summit included substantive sessions on Japan's AI White Paper from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), updates from RIKEN on domestic frontier-model research, and enterprise case studies from Toyota Research Institute, Softbank, and several mega-banks piloting LLM-based internal assistants. The manufacturing track is the strongest in Asia — Japan's industry 4.0 adoption rate makes it the region's richest testing ground for predictive maintenance, quality-control vision, and robotics orchestration.

AIMenta maintains relationships with several of the domestic Japanese AI providers who exhibit at this Summit. For clients entering or expanding in Japan, we use the Summit as an annual calibration point for the Japanese vendor landscape — particularly important given Japan's language-specific model ecosystem (LINE CLOVA, Rinna, Stockmark) that is largely invisible on international analyst indices.
