Hong Kong FinTech Week 2026

AI in financial services — APAC focus

When
Nov 2–6, 2026
Where
Hong Kong, Hong Kong
Format
In-person

HK's flagship fintech event with a heavy AI track. HKMA policy signals, banking AI adoption, regional virtual banks.

Hong Kong Fintech Week is the city's signature international finance-and-technology event, co-organised by InvestHK and HKMA (Hong Kong Monetary Authority). Held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre each October, the Week draws 40,000+ participants from banking, insurance, asset management, payments, and regulatory bodies across 100+ economies — making it the largest fintech event in Asia by attendance.

The AI-in-finance programme has expanded substantially since 2023, with dedicated tracks on LLM applications in wealth management, AI-based AML compliance, generative AI for insurance underwriting, and HKMA's regulatory sandbox outcomes for algorithmic trading. The 2025 edition featured the HKMA's first public guidance on model risk management for AI-generated financial advice — a landmark for regulated firms building client-facing AI.

For AIMenta's financial-services clients in Hong Kong, Fintech Week combines regulatory briefings, vendor demonstrations, and competitor intelligence in a format that is impossible to replicate from analyst reports alone. We typically facilitate small-group dinners with HKMA officials, international regtech founders, and AIMenta clients on the margins of the main programme — contact us in September to join the 2026 edition.
