Annual Davos meeting with sustained AI governance and enterprise tracks.

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos has become one of the most influential AI policy venues globally since 2023, with the AI Governance Alliance (AIGA) and the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution both producing substantive policy frameworks from the week's working sessions. While Davos itself is inaccessible to most organisations without WEF membership, the frameworks, white papers, and governance commitments produced from the meeting exert downstream influence on APAC regulators who use WEF materials as reference in their own policy consultations.

For enterprise AI governance leaders, Davos's direct relevance is through the Global AI Action Alliance (GAAIA) frameworks and the AI Governance Alliance toolkits — publicly available resources that represent cross-sector, cross-geography consensus on responsible AI deployment. Several APAC regulators (MAS, HKMA, METI) have cited Davos outputs in their own AI guidance documents, making familiarity with Davos AI frameworks a useful anchor for regulatory dialogue.

AIMenta reviews Davos AI outputs in January each year and publishes a briefing note on the policy implications for APAC enterprise AI governance — identifying which Davos commitments are likely to translate into regulatory requirements in the 12–24 months following the meeting and what proactive steps APAC enterprises can take to stay ahead of the regulatory curve.
